Caroline Groves is one of nine leading contemporary designers who have been invited to display their work at an exciting new exhibition entitled Design: Head, Hand, Heart hosted by Court Barn, the museum of craft and design, in Chipping Campden, Gloucestershire.

The exhibition will run between Friday 13 April to Sunday 8 July 2018 and includes demonstration and discussion events. Court Barn is a museum and archive for the Guild of Handicraft Trust that was established in 1990 to collect and care for the work of artists, architects, designers and craftspeople working in the north Cotswolds. Chipping Campden was the home of Charles Robert Ashbee’s Guild of Handicraft who moved from London’s East End in 1902.

Sarah McCormick Healy, Court Barn curator said: “These designers all follow the rich heritage established by architect and designer Charles Robert Ashbee – placing great value on work, the joy of craftsmanship and the natural beauty of materials.”

The museum has recently been described as ‘the most delightful small museum in England’ by Clive Aslet in his article on the Guild of Handicraft in Country Life magazine.
